an intrusion of magma along a bedsing plane is called what

1 Answer

  • The intrusion of magma along a bedding* plane is called a Batholith. The reason it would be Batholith is because it comes from a Greek Root word that stands for "depth".  Which would stand for what happens down their in the earth which would be "Batho-lith".

    Hope this helps!
