2 Answer

  • One of the┬ámost important accomplishments of the Progressive Era was the Nineteenth Amendment of the Constitution. This amendment gave both sexes the right to vote (women could now vote). Voting can affect family life. One example of this was the temperance movement. It promoted the practice of never drinking alcohol. The point women were trying to make was that alcohol could cause men to waste their money, ignore their families, and abuse their wives. This is why it is important for women to be able to vote.
  • The most important accomplishment was the progressiveness in factory efficiency. Like the cotton gin which made work faster and more multiplied.
