Question

The most important measure of the size of a river is the
a. number of its tributaries.
b. size of its watershed.
c. width of its mouth.
d. volume of its discharge.

1 Answer

  • I'd guess b on this one. I don't know the definition of watershed, but the amazon is a pretty big expanse of water "stretching" a long way (albeit that water doesn't stretch).
