With all his gear, Neil Armstrong weighed 360 pounds on Earth. When he landed on the Moon, he weighed 60 pounds. Why?

2 Answer

  • The force of gravity is less on the moon. To be exact, it is 1/6 of that on earth
  • When you land on the moon you're weight is six times less than it is on Earth, for example, he is 360 pounds right? You divide that by 6 and get 60.
