  • 1. the hearts job is to propel blood throughout the body

    3. they would go into hypothermic shock or something:p
  • 1. The circulatory system is composed of the heart and blood vessels, including arteries, veins, and capillaries. As a hollow, muscular pump, its main function is to propel blood throughout the body.
    2. Arterial blood (red, oxygen-rich blood) flows from the heart to each part of the body to provide oxygen and nutrients. The venous blood (blue, oxygen-poor blood) returns from the body to the heart. The blood then travels through the lungs to exchange carbon dioxide for new oxygen.
