Question

Define personification, and a example

2 Answer

  • This is a literary device which gives human like qualities to non-living things.
Example: The wind howled in the night sky.
  • Personification is the act of giving traits that may be found in a human to inanimate objects. For example, 'Your grades really speak for themselves.' This would be personification because grades can't talk.
